The jazz standard has served as the starting point for many an improvisational journey as well as the career for many a jazz player. Their timelessness and ample substance by which one can weave a musical tale are renown. This same longevity and vast underpinning for exploration is easily matched and exceeded by the stars in the night sky. In this hour we will dig the sounds of standards that explore the night sky and others with the same name.
